Sabi Sushi Cafe - OCEAN BEACH

As above. I go here because my young fella likes it on the way shopping. 3 girls waitressing and it took 10 mins to get one of them to notice we had turned up and get around to delivering a bowl of miso. It was dead inside. No water offered. Pricing seemed out of wack. Mini chicken and avo plain rolls on a5:50 plate?? And more elaborate ones were less?? Used to be alright. Seems to rapidly be getting worse.

We've been here a few times lately. Only sampling what's on rotation, with the the opinion that if it's good we'll order from the kitchen. A couple of times we actually would have ordered based more on what we saw other people having, but the staff never offered. Not sure why, but they lost our business there. The sushi train is good but not amazing, mostly avocado and tinned tuna or chicken. Personally I think there's better options within 15-20mins, but if your in a hurry and want a quick meal, it does appear clean and fresh.

We had some sushi, sashimi and a few other dishes; all were very fresh and high quality. It was also very good value. It compares well in quality and value to food I have had in Japan.

Great range of sushi, always fresh. The lotus salad is a winner. However the music at times can make you feel like you are in a girls fashion shop - in which I'm outta there instead of buying a plate or two more.

Delicious Sushi train Cafe. Nice atmosphere and staff. Has coffee and a good variety of sushi on offer. Good quality fare.
