The Bay Walk Cafe - Ocean Beach

Açaí bowls, coffee, salads. Sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. Cash only. Stopped in for açaí bowl today, and it wasn't best ever, but was pretty good.

The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. An employee was rude and commented on how my order wasn't to her liking because it was too healthy. When my friend ordered a less healthy smoothie, the employee told us that's more to her liking. The older lady employee was dismissive and refused to check for chocolate sauce when my friend requested it, instead trying to push her towards getting chocolate chips. I was charged $13.99 for a simple smoothie. Overall, a bad experience and I will not be returning.

I am extremely disappointed with the salad I ordered. It was supposed to have avocado and grilled chicken, but there was no avocado and only four small pieces of chicken. I paid extra for those ingredients. Additionally, the service was slow despite there being no other customers in the restaurant. I also tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered the phone. This experience was very frustrating.

Waited 20 minutes for a pina colada just for it to taste like pineapple and water. it was very unblended

The new place is called falafel's and Freits , I've never had any more amazing meal on fire Island, I went with the classic falafel sandwich (at the top of the menu) 10 stars if I could, it was absolutely perfect, there's a little bin on the side with three different kinds of sauces and they smell amazing I tried the mango chutney and the super spicy one and they're so good, it reminds me of turkey or morocco, I've never had better Middle Eastern food without being in the Middle East. The hummus is perfect and the pita is delicious! I don't eat olives or pickled carrots, but the bell peppers that are cut up there's just no words it's absolutely incredible highly recommend!!!!! I talk to the server (Kyle) he's really cool we actually knew people in common from the city. Along with my hummus and pita dish I had also gotten the truffle dust fries 100/10!!!!! ‍
