We were skiing in the Oberstdorf area over the christmas period, my wife and me got a chance to go for a meal with out the kids. We stumbled upon this lovely little resturant and managed to get a seat.Straight into mains as the steaks beckoned, I had the 300gr Rump and my wife had the wild salmon. My steak was nearly black on the top and bottow and beautifully red in the middle and very very tender. Apparently the salmon was really nice as well.Book a table an go here
I ate here on two occasions. I enjoyed an excellent steak, great wine, and a pancake desert the first time around. The second time, I enjoyed sizzling Fajitas with great beer. The food is terrific, the ambience relaxing, the service is superb, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would be very happy to eat here again and I happily recommend it to you.
This is one of the nicest restaurants, we had dinner during our visit in Germany. The restaurant is rather small but the atmosphere is great. If you travel with a larger group you may want to make a reservation, just the two of us, found a table easily.
The Pfefferkornchen is a small intimate restaurant, with only 7 tables inside and a few outside, so booking is essential. We ate here 3 times on our holiday and all the meals were exceptional. We had venison, schnitzel, pork dishes and salads and they were all excellent quality. The waitress was welcoming, very friendly and extremely efficient, and enjoyed chatting with her customers. Some of the dishes were expensive, but they were well worth it. If we return to Oberstdorf, this will be the first place we eat in.
