Don Juanito - Oaxaca

Large traditional restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Service was great and fast. We came twice and could get a table right away. The quality of the food is 5/5, especially for meat. Must try Tacos Al steam!

One of the best restaurants I have in Mexico after having fed 1 or 2 times a day for 7 months. Excellent food. Excellent service. Very nice location and decor. You owe it to yourself.

My friend and I thought an afternoon was a comfortable lunch and the food was sooo good, we came back to dinner for 3 nights in a row. The place is often busy for dinner, but they always had a table for us and usually (1 waitress was just okay) great service. Don Juanito had the atmosphere of a beautiful restaurant, but with very reasonable prices. The dishes were authentic and had a beautiful presentation without being over the top.

Delicious Pozoles (I really liked the green the best), and they have a complete menu of plates, tacos and other items. You also have al pastor I found harder to find in Oaxaca. Pro Tip: Order a page of rice and place it in your soup for one of the best things in the world, SOUPY RICE! Yum. They take credit cards and had plenty of availability at 8 in the night, and they stay fairly late open. Street parking per usual in this part of Oaxaca.

Very good food and service. We ordered the tabla de tacos and flan and it was delicious. Highly recommended!
