Renee's Asian Island - Oakley

I have always recommended Renee's, as the food is generally good. However, tonight I found a piece of metal in my meal. When I called Renee's to report it, the person I spoke to was rude and said they wouldn't refund my $9 unless I brought the food back. Honestly, they've lost us as customers over this experience.

Incredible dining experience with quick and friendly service! I have to say, their food is absolutely delicious. They also offer delivery! I believe they make the best hot and sour soup I've ever tasted.

I've been a regular at this restaurant since Renee took over, but my last two visits were disappointing. There was no sauce available, the roasted rice was overcooked, and the Mongolian beef was so full of gristle and fat that it was inedible. The fried shrimp was excessively greasy, suggesting the oil hadn’t been heated properly. As a pensioner living on a fixed income, dining out is a luxury for me, and after experiencing poorly prepared meals twice, I've decided to take my business elsewhere in the future.
