Peony - Oakland

Food was delicious. Favorite was the 雜菜炒面 Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein

Ive had the siu mai and shrimp dumplings. Very good stuff

Overall, I had a very nice time at the Peony Seafood Restaurant. The food awakened my inner Chinese self. The rice jook was rich and creamy, filled with pork and aged eggs. The chicken feet were hard to eat and pick up. I prefer the warm chicken feet to the cold, slimy. I liked the Veggies in Tofu-Haut. My favorite dish was the roast pig.

Eating here was great! I particularly liked the walnut bun. It tasted amazing! Apart from that, I also had lots of other things, like the rice porridge and vegetarian dumplings. Everything tasted great.

Very nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Authentic cantanes dim sum dishes. There is underground parking, we paid $3. Four of us ordered 11 dishes (cost $85) and we were full and content.
