Nieves Cinco De Mayo - Oakland

We were in the mood for some helados and excited to find somewhere local to satisfy the craving. Pricing is good for the serving size. The items we tried tasted great: mangonada , raspado de limón, and cookies cream. They have a nice selection of varied flavors.

The tejuino is excellent and the ice cream is delicious. It's great to have access to candies that are typically only available by ordering from Mexico.

This is my favorite place for satisfying my sweet tooth in the Bay Area. The snow cones with pecan and coconut are fantastic, especially the coconut snow cone known as Raspado de Nuez Con Coco. Additionally, the churros sold outside of the shop are also amazing. You can choose to have them filled with either vanilla or chocolate.

The fact that we were in San Francisco for 5 days and came here 2 of the days should say a lot. The mangonadas are amazing!! They are made a little different than I was used to but they are great!! They use mango ice cream which makes it perfectly creamy. I got the medium and could have been better off with a small because they overfill the cups which is awesome! My husband got the sandiloca which was a piece of art by itself. The fruit was so fresh!! I will definitely be coming back next time we come back to California.

Come here for the mangonada cravings. We also love the ice cream! So many great and unique flavors and so cheap!
