Bidrage med feedbackI visited the restaurant on a Saturday night after 8 PM. It was moderately busy, but we had no trouble getting a table. We were recommended the place by a friend who knew the owner's son. The kimchi pancake was quite good, especially when paired with a savory dish like the hot pot or bosam. The jeongol was labeled for 2-3 people, but it easily could have fed 4. The portions were generous, and the broth had a light sweetness that balanced out the richness of the beef. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who rarely needed to be flagged down for anything more than a soup ladle.
I have been back to this restaurant two more times in April 2022. The Mul naeng myeon (cold noodle) was perfect for a warm night. The broth was refreshing and I loved the delicate slices of radish, apple, and cucumber. I wasn't a big fan of the type of meat they used (fatty ground meat-like), but the seasoning was great. I could eat this dish all summer long. I also tried the mackerel and tofu soup combo recommended by someone in the reviews and it was delicious. The fish was flaky and well seasoned, and not just a sad frozen fillet thrown onto the grill. I always enjoy sitting down to Korean food and getting a variety of banchan with different colors and flavors. In December 2021, I had a solo dinner of tofu soup and galbi, and both were seasoned perfectly to my taste. The galbi was meaty and not overly fatty, and the soup was flavorful without tasting like a ramen flavor packet. It was still delicious when I had leftovers the next day. The banchan is always the highlight when I eat Korean food, and I especially enjoyed the ones offered here. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
We stumbled upon this restaurant on Google Maps and we are so glad we did! With two adults and two young kids (ages 6 and 3), we ordered 7 different dishes because we were impressed with the variety on offer. Everything was delicious! We spent $135 before tips, but we think it was well worth it. The house special, Bossam, is a must-try! The Galbi was tasty without being overly sweet, and the soup and Japchae were fantastic. The banchan was delicious, and the fish and pancake dishes were also tasty. The Bibimbub was also very good.
Great place to satisfy your Korean food cravings! Fresh, tasty food and great service.
