Artichoke Basille's Pizza - Oakland

Absolutely in love with their signature Artichoke slice, all the pizza is great and humongous slices! Wonderful vibe and beer/ drink selection completes everything. Love this place

Lived the first 18 years of my life in Boston, then moved to New York for 10 years. Moved out to the Bay Area two years ago, and for the most part, the pizza is tastes like s& . Artichoke is the only spot I’ve found that competes with parlors on the East coast, highly recommended to any fellow east coasters looking for a pizza-by-the-slice or just pizza in general that will remind you of home. 5-stars for sure given it’s the Bay Area. 4-stars if it was located in Brooklyn or the North End.

Nice flavor and humongous size of the pie. They sell by the slice. The whole pizza is 8 slices. So you eat 1 slice or get the whole pizza is the same cost per slice.

Nice atmosphere. This is a good place to come with a large group (6-8 people) because there is no assigned seating, and if you're lucky you'll find a big round table enough to seat you all. There is a pizza bar and drinks bar. Go up and order what you want. Thanks.

The pizzas were thick and heavy and every bite was crunchy. It was loaded with cheese and toppings. Every slice was a whole meal. It was a very good experience visiting this place. I would love to go again.
