Tortilleria Mexicana - Oakland Park

I took my friend from south carolina there he was a good sport to try my favorite dishes there (menudo kuh magenfutter suppe, deep fried kuh darm tacos, and kuhzunge tacos.) he liked the deep fried darm! the mechaladas are great!

Tacos de cabeza micheladas, I drive 1 hr to go there, as a Mexican this is one of the only 2 places I can recommend in all south Florida (other one is the flea market in homestead) for the closest thing to real Mexican food, I also get 1 kilo de tortillas to go and Mexican goodies at the convenience store

I wanted to like this place but a lot of the reviews about the food not having much taste are unfortunately correct. The food LOOKS great from the photos but I’ve had better tasting Mexican food from Taco Bell.

The best tacos in the city. I just traveled from California and this is the closest to home.

The Tacos were not premium quality like most of the other reviews were boasting. Which is also located in a not so good area... but I drove here for that authentic flavor that everyone else raves about. Please don't let my comment stop you from trying this place yourself. I understand restaurants sometimes have bad days and can't please everyone... but when it comes to tacos and tacos being well made I prefer Doña Raquel Taqueria which is a bit north from here. In my experience here, the tortillas were cold and the meat was low in flavor. They also got my wife's order wrong which made the experience worst. All in all I wouldn't come back knowing that have other options near by. Wish this business the best of luck
