Checkers - Oakland Park

I recently dined at a Checker franchise and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and covered seating area. The food was typical for a Checker's restaurant, but my order was accurate (no cheese, no pickles) and the staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is located on a busy street, but it felt peaceful and quiet enough for me to enjoy my meal outside in their covered picnic area. The tables were clean and the trash cans were not overflowing. My only criticism is not specific to this location, but rather applies to all Checker's restaurants. A few years ago, they changed their burgers and now they are quite bland. The seasoned fries also seemed to have less seasoning and more grease. However, I still enjoy their chili and wish they would offer it as a standalone menu item.

I absolutely adore Joker's and I just have to tell you how much! It is the top-notch food establishment with a wide variety of chicken wings and scrumptious burgers. The delivery service is also excellent. I highly suggest that new customers check out their prices on Google, they are so affordable that you simply must give them a try.
