The Farmhouse - Oakhurst

Perfect place to stop for a cozy sit down breakfast. I ordered the Local Special (2 eggs, choice of sausage or bacon, country potatoes or hash browns, and choice of toast) Yum! The potatoes were divine! My husband ordered the breakfast burrito (chili verde) and it was yummier than my plate! Great flavor and spice! Tender pork and nicely browned tortilla. We ordered one pancake, which was perfectly fluffy and sized! Jacob was our waiter and he was awesome! Made us feel welcomed and provided great service!

We've been back to The Farmhouse a few times now and we really enjoy it. I still get the creme brûlée French toast. Four triangles are sufficient. The stuff is awesome and I never order anything else. It might be a bit sweet for some, but......YUM! My husband gets the local's special and it always looks good. Jacob if he still works there), is a great waiter. They have moved to a new location just below DiCicco's. We will continue to go there. Only 4 stars because our last waitress was just so-so. Otherwise 5 stars!

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The wait was unbearable, taking over an hour after placing our order, and the food was as disappointing as imaginable. The service was awful; it seemed like there were four staff members standing around while only one cook was preparing one dish at a time. In every way possible, this was an awful experience. I can't recommend this place to anyone, unless you're looking for a cautionary example for your own restaurant. On top of everything, they had run out of most items on the menu and ended up burning what little they had left. If I could give negative stars, I definitely would.

The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. I just drove 25 minutes to get here, so please update your hours on Google.
