Firenze Ristorante - Oakdale

Pretty good food not sure if this is Italian food but it tastes good. Brushetta though was 15 bucks I think it 's the first time I asked my girlfriend not to order something from a menu it is not because of the price it is because it is Brushetta at that price it makes no sense. You have olive oil and some tomatoes on a piece of stale bread and you charge 15 bucks? Yikes, I am losing my f ing mind on this stuff. But other than that, the food is good I just don 't know why we in America don 't go to Tuscany or somewhere in Italy anywhere in Italy, and learn or refresh ourselves on what Italian food is and what al dente means. Nothing against Firenze but this is a US issue as a whole we think because we have a great aunt from Italy that we can cook pasta... it doesn 't work that way. The food was extremely over priced with a food that was subpar. I had the special, a simple Mahi-Mahi tuna, pan fried that turned out to be well overdone, extremely dry, and drenched with a sauce to cover up the problem. They added more Risotto to cover the inconsistency of the main entree. A $35 waste of money. I would have said something but no one came by to check on us. Now, I understand that it was very busy, but we are also customers . On top of that, the cocktail that was charged twice when the first one wasn't down correctly, for $16. I was very disappointed of a neighborhood restaurant that was supposed to be fine dining. Never again.

Cute restaurant with that old school Italian charm! Staff was friendly, I did take out and my food was about ready when I was there. I ordered chicken pesto pasta and spaghetti, a bit pricier than I expected but it was good. (Paid about $50 for my daughter I)

This place used to be really good but lately the food is just lacking the quality specially for the price. It is very expensive now and the service is lacking.

Food was delicious and my family really enjoyed the dinner and birthday celebration. Our server was very attentive to the whole gang and I can't thank her enough. We love the decor of the inside and makes this place standout as a favorite.
