Off Road Diner And Dogs, Formerly Chicago's Own

Good food, good service, CLEAN, friendly folks! We stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday around 6pm and ordered a burger with fried mushrooms and a hotdog with mac-n-cheese bites. Absolutely no complaints about anything. He said the burger was one of the bestburgers he's had in years, and the mac-n-cheese bites were the best I've ever had. It's not 5-star dining, but it meets mycriteria for a 5-star experience: Clean Freshly prepared Friendly Comfortable Can't wait to check them out during lunch soon.

New owner's and it's sensational food! All the old favorites from Chicago's Own and delicious new stuff. Pulled pork platter was perfectly cooked with right amount of sauce. I would eat their coleslaw daily, so fresh! Please try, you will be glad you did.

This place got recommended to us last year when it was still under the original name of Chicago’s Own, but having just moved to the Knoxville area a year ago, coming down from Chicago, we finally got to eat here. We love it so much. I had the Italian beef and it made my Chicagoan heart so happy. The beef is seasoned so well. My husband had the gyro, which he enjoyed and we had a starter of the fried mushrooms. Can never go wrong with mushrooms. The new owners are super friendly and are awesome for keeping the Chicago staples on the the menu. My husband couldn’t resist ordering their Off Road hot dog too and he loved it. We’ll definitely be back!

I cannot recommend the food here enough! This is the kind of place that you can eat every day of the week and not be burnt out on their food. Unfortunately there’s not many places that are locally owned like this still around town. All the more reason to stop in though. I have not eaten a single meal from this establishment that I did not enjoy. The owners, David and Lucy, are very kind funny and will having you feeling like family. Their prices are fair and you definitely receive your moneys worth. Five stars just really is not enough. They have my business from here on out.

Amazing brisket. The best we've had! The potato salad is also so so so good! We will be back!
