Jefferson Soda Fountain - Oak Ridge

The food was excellent, and the waitstaff were wonderful. The atmosphere was fantastic, making it a great overall experience. Definitely one of the best meals I've had!

I stopped by for a quick milkshake. Several folks were bragging about how they were the best choice at Hamburger in Oak Ridge. I didn’t have any food myself, but I did see the fries, and they looked fantastic—golden brown and crispy!

Salt and flour, please. At 32 years old, I find that the charm and simplicity of the Jefferson Fountain are nearly lost on me due to my youthful age. Nevertheless, my late father instilled in me the significance of a city fountain. These spots used to serve as social hubs outside malls and arcades. The Jefferson Fountain has remained unchanged for decades. The food is quite basic—not particularly exciting—but it's a delightful reminder of a simpler time. The no-frills cooking harkens back to a way of life long before I was even a thought. Establishments like this are starting to make a comeback in certain parts of the country, and it's easy to understand why. It offers a retreat from the constant stress of our daily lives. Enjoy the atmosphere and the people, and savor everything before diving into the food. It will be worth it.

I wasn't satisfied with my breakfast, but my friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was amazing! It was huge, delicious, and very reasonably priced. He also ordered a chocolate malt, but of course, he didn't share! The service was good, and the place has a lot of history. It's definitely worth a visit, even if it's just for the ice cream.

Always a great food and service. There aren't many places left that are locally owned and operated. They really take care of our local law enforcement. Wish I could give more stars!
