Great atmosphere and much cleaner than years ago by Sneaky Pete. Good pub menu with reasonable prices and lunch specialties. Good servings at dinner. Live music several times a week.

While the exterior could use some updating of the dining and dining room atmosphere is execllent. My first time I shocked... It looks like a biker bar from outside, but is very welcoming once in. The Dinning room has wooden walls with popular knick-knacks. My service was always great and my food was wonderful. I suggest getting a burger here. You really get your money worth and will definitely not be disappointed.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Black Bear Tavern has been closed for about 6-8 months. I miss this place. What can I say... I love this place. Do not expect 3 Michelin star meals or something, but the food is great, the atmosphere is comfortable, casual and friendly, and the beer is inexpensive. What else could you ask? Say Al and Dawn Hello when you're here.

For a local bar, the food is amazing! The bartender is awesome. Staff is friendly and they always have live music on the weekends. Not too many places around like that
