Tantra Indian Cuisine - Oak Park

All I can say is wow. Tantra hands down has the best tasting Indian food I have ever had. The owner/host always remembers me when I come and even remembers my order better than me. Ive been to India before and I can promise you, no Indian place can taste or feel as asthetic as Tantra does.

Sadly not as good as the last time we were there. I was fine but wifey not so much. The chicken tikka was OK but the basmati rice was not the best prepared too wet and not fluffy. Also what Indian restaurant doesn 't have black tea served hot, without milk? Don 't know that we will return.

Been here a few times with my mother for lunch. Their food is really good, and I've been to many many Indian restaurants. The extra spicy is pretty hot and seasoned with fresh peppers rather than a powder which adds nice heat and a crunch. The menu has tofu which is a plus if you are vegetarian/vegan. Plus, the lunch special is great. It's always too much for me to eat, so I have some leftovers to enjoy later. Ambiance is a bit nicer than your typical Indian restaurant in TO or the Valley, there are some fancier ones but they're more expensive and more meat-heavy. The waiter that we've had each time is also super friendly and remembers us, so sweet.

This is the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food is consistently fresh and of the highest quality! I enjoy everything on the menu!
