Lea French Street Food - Oak Park

This is simply a great little spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is all well prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. The wine selections are limited, but well chosen and great additions to the cuisine. The place is pleasantly lit, quiet and very peaceful. This restaurant got off to a slow start with some service issues and a very cumbersome ordering process, but most of that has been improved. This is a place one will go back to often with friends and family.

A local husband and wife team have opened an authentic French-street food restaurant with fresh baked breads and desserts, along with creative dinner dishes. The menu is not huge, but everything is delicious. Organic wines available and most ingredients are locally sourced. The decor is really well done. They also offer create-you-own salads and sandwiches for lunches. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried, especially the chicken breast, and will be coming back with friends.

The restaurant was clean, and our server went out of her way to accommodate us, helping us get seated quickly. The service was prompt, allowing us to make it to a show on time. The prices were reasonable for the fresh food we enjoyed.

Great food, very simple pleasant atmosphere and great service. This is a great place!

Excellent food and lovely service. Casual dining. Very quiet. We enjoyed steak and salmon, with excellent soup and bread.
