Bidrage med feedbackSad to see that the quality has decreased over the years. The positives are the staff are very kind plus the lattes and pastries are delicious. However, the salad I ordered today had browning apples and the quiche was nothing special. I don?t understand whythey can?t serve us on normal plates. The take out containers are very wasteful.
I love the bread is so delicious and freshly baked, I wanna try everything, place is big and airy, with lots of tables to enjoy your food, food is served to go but you can seat and enjoy it there. Fast service.
Today was my third visit to Lea. We ordered 1-1/2 hours ahead, but the order wasn't ready when we arrived. We waited fifteen minutes for the completed order. There is no sense of urgency from the staff. The Pompidou was lackluster. The croissant wasdelicious, however, there was a VERY skimpy amount of ham and cheese in the sandwich. It wasn't worth $12.00. Not a good value,so I'm not returning.
We love their croissants- they are flaky and fresh, the way a croissant should be, and perfect with their coffee. The baguettes are also very good. You order on a screen when you go in, which I have no problem with, but it might throw people off on a firstvisit. The atmosphere is nice- clean and modern, and staff has always been friendly when I've been in.
This one is in downtown Chicago and the place is filthy dirty, patrons are ?cleaning? tables and chairs with paper napkins while workers behind the counters watch. The amount of plastic and waste is appalling. I dislike the computer ordering station whichprecludes any actual human interaction. The food is satisfactory at best and would be better with actual plates and cutlery.Embarrassing.
