Katy's Dumpling House - Oak Park

A small restaurant in a non-describing suburban stripe marble. I came for the xiao long baos (xlb’s, aka suppenknödel,) and they were deliciously beautiful.

I've revived the crab-rangon assistant. the place is bright and welcoming. it makes fun to watch the fish in the tank. the service is attentive. that's worth it.

Great disappointment I decided to order over their online location and asked for a big garnel appetizer and a chicken pad thai dinner. shortly after.

I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Katy’s! They brought the authentic Chinese food and best service to our lovely neighborhood. The staffs are always very nice and patient. They always try their best to help us to find what we want. Our story started long time ago. We used to order deliveries via Ubereats. And sometimes the Uber drivers didn’t deliver the food then we had to reorder it. The manager or the owner called me right away after I placed the second exactly same one to see if there was something wrong with the food. When I told her that our food was missing, she sound really sorry(even though it was not her fault . She recommended we order directly from them and take advantage of their rewards program to save some money. And we did! They never make mistakes and the drivers are so professional! You can tell they train the employees a lot and always make progress from the past(mistakes . And right after reopening we went to Katy’s for Dine-in. The decoration was amazing and the food was way better than delivery.(food is still good but for something like Three Chilli Fish you should have it for dine-in! . We will bring all our friends and family to Katy’s and we are looking forward to trying the new dishes.

Gone here a few times and the food is consistently great. They 've become one of our favorite go-to take-out restaurants, especially during the current climate. Dumplings are a hit and so are the noodles. We especially love the 'soup dumplings '.
