Bidrage med feedbackVery traditionally decorated in Indian style. we have offered from midday buffet for 7.50 euro tgl apart from the Sunday of 11.30 14.00 clock for this 1 tea, several appetizers with different sauces all very tasty 4. 1 vegetarian and 2 desserts. you could go as often as you wanted, as fragrant basmatireis served or naanbrot. we find a great value for money.
We were in three at midday. they have very cheap everything they can in toss. everything was pretty good and the dishes are hot. they can compile their court with rice, huh, curry, sweet etc. if the waiters become nicer, I will give for...safe the max score!
My wife and I spent 3 days in this great city. we had the feeling that we were a little out of the way to eat in restaurants and restaurants. we accidentally came to the Maharaja Palace and wandered around and tried to eat somewhere. we both love a curry and so we went in and asked for a table for two. my German is not the best at all, but I could ask the table in German. it was soon obvious that we would have problems with the order, and so the owner/manager came and negated us. he was very friendly and his English was excellent. the meal was faultless I had a huhn madras and anne had a corma. in england we are used to have chips or pommes, and although not the norm in nurnberg, the manager sorted some for us. the rice was beautiful. I also had a glass very tasty dark beer. the decoration was very traditional and Indian oriented, which I liked very much. we went back two days later to a final meal before we flew home. they will not be disappointed when they eat here. rory and anne
Came here after the rock in the park festival, great specialties and good curry is highly recommended. we are very used to good Indian food and maharaja fulfills our expectations.
My fiancée and I love curry, so where we go, we try the local offer. maharaja palast was very close to our airbnb so we thought we would try. we are there at 8:30 a.m. and it was full so that the man I think the owner said to come back in 30 minutes. the two young who arrived shortly after us decided they could not wait and probably went out to try to find somewhere else to dinner. we were not in the hurry, so went for a walk and found a small caffe near to have a beer. when we came back at 9 o'clock, there were some tables free so we were sitting right away. the menu was in German, but had some English translations below. I had read on tripadvisor that their version is dampened by seasoning for the German palate, so that we ordered the mixed papora to start and when I ordered the green bun I order for extra. the waiter seemed surprised, but still agreed. my fiancée ordered the lamb madras (which had a chili warning next to him already! and the waiter warned him that it was hot. the mixed papora arrived and was a beautiful mix of sweet, windshield and chicken breast in a light teig, but the cook was extremely difficult to handle with the salt and pepper that it is unpleasant to eat. the actual food was cooked and the three dives (mango, green chili and raita were very tasteful. we think, maybe on this teller they just made a mistake in spicing, so not complaining. the main thing came and my green chicken came with a little damped veg upstairs and was on a bed of an orange picked veg that was quite delicious. the two people part of the basmati was fluffy and very beautiful. my other halflamm madras was really tasteful and spicy, but not too hot and the naans were soft and crispy at the right place. you could say the waiters were very busy, but they were all very polite and fast to clear our empty dishes. I would definitely not be put off by our zu-Peppery and zu-Salty-Starter as I think that was probably one out and the main dishes were very nice. I would recommend this restaurant, but think it is important to choose the right elements on the menu as some can be better than others. the green huh, lamb madras and the fluffy basmati rice were our highlights.
