Bidrage med feedbackAfter not having visited Turk's for over 10 years, we decided to drive up there last evening. The place hadn't changed at all. It maintains its cozy ambiance and, apparently, its popularity. However, the food (although reasonably priced) was nothing special. My lake perch were overly battered and rather bland. The mashed potatoes with caramelized onions and cheese were good, though. My dining companion's prime rib was overdone and dry as was her baked potato. The blueberry cobbler ala mode was large (we shared) but rather flavorless. Turk's offers a reasonable selection of bottled beer (no tap), and a small and uninteresting selection of wines. They have a well stocked bar and do pour generous sized mixed drinks. The service was efficient and friendly, and the place appeared to be clean and sanitary. I would not go out of my way to eat at Turk's in the future, but if I was nearby at mealtime, I'd probably go again.
