Chiringuito At Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta

Great place to go for Spanish style food. We had the Valencia Paella for two and it was delicious! We started with the fried calamari which was fantastic! They have a nice setting by a pool and we had a great view of the sunset. Great waiters. The only negative was a lot of feral cats wandering around the tables; if you are not a cat lover than you might not like this place.

Both the fried calamari and the Valencia paella were very salty. If our waiter would have come to our table more than twice (to take our order and to bring us our bill) we would have sent both back. Our food was delivered by a busboy who didn’t bring our bread until halfway through the paella. The manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was. We said that it was salty. He said “Oh, I’ll talk to the chef” and walked away, never to be seen again. Also, my wife is very allergic to cats and there were 3 kittens constantly at her feet begging for food. The busboy seemed concerned, when we told him of her allergy, but nothing was done.
