K B Chaat Wala - Nueva Delhi

This is the best moonglet as they say...this is made up of overnight soaked moongdal fried on pan with Amul butter along with mint and cilantro chutney and sauth chutney(sweet) and optional khajur chutney...tastes so great.. can't explain in words..this is why i am writing so much to explain try this oncE

I had never tried a moonglet, gave this eat joint a try. It was really yummy, with veggies ke capsicum and sweet corner it tasted like a desi pizza! However the aloo chat was not good.. The spices were just awful and aloo wasn’t crispy at all. There is no seating space, it’s a street food joint.

The place <br/ <br/ is famous for its kb chaat moonglet. Moonglet is stuffed with corn and vegetable and it tastes delicious. I tasted it and find amazing. Quality is good and they are trying something different also. So big thumbs up for it. Much recommended. Rating 5 out of 5.

I got to know about this place; especially, about the moonglet by 2 fellow foodbloggers (a big thanks to them and was eager to visit here and have that dish.<br/ So, finally I made it to visit 2 days back.<br/ I had Aloo chaat and Moonglet.<br/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀<br/ ALOO CHAAT !<br/ Dices of potatoes, fried and served with particular masala.<br/ Though I told him to make it less spicy and he does but can't tolerate spice at all so it was bit spicy for me after that !<br/ But if someone loves spicy street food they should really check this out.<br/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀<br/ MOONGLET !<br/ A dish similar as egg omelette but made by moong dal bater.<br/ It is made by a good consistency of moong dal bater (not too runny not too thick with required veggies (onions, maize seeds etcs. spread in a pan greased with clarified butter and flipping it 2-3 times (like we do for an omelette .<br/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀<br/ It is served with 2 chutneys (sauces ; one is green chutney and other one is khajur ki chutney.<br/ The khajur ki chutney was the show stealer for me, it tastes sweet and goes perfectly with moonglet.<br/ <br/ You can either stand and eat or can takeaway. (I was tired enough so chose to takeaway <br/ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀<br/ Both the dishes were so amazing, especially,that moonglet.<br/ RECOMMENDED!
