Bidrage med feedbackA completely new experience in the two-sense, buffet dinner from the finest Spanish tapas, live music, a great evening was only to end far after midnight. I am not a great fan of Spanish wein (being!) but I have to revise my opinion.Thanks to all those who contributed to this great evening.
Are meier's two-sense opened, we are always happy here. bistro and restaurant: outside and inside harmonious! modern, fitting, welcoming friendly ambiente. eating: upscale kitchen with excellent kitchen skills!Weine: great wine selection from super winzern! very good and meeting advice. service: attentive, friendly, uncomplicated, rather too often at the table but not intrusive.In summary: we feel comfortable and look forward to going to the next evening in a two-sense!
Experience collected at juan amador and thomas martin, as well as already in the first year a michelin star, the expectations for the evening is relatiw high. on a nürnberger exit road in the direction east is located the local of stefan meyer in the ground floor in a modern modern high house. from the city you reach the local in approx. 10 minutes or with taxi costs of about 25 €. you enter the local you first come to the “Bistro” and then through a flurs finally the “Gourmetrestaurant”. left of this flur is the kitchen housed and right there is a small terrace. for aperitif and amuse bouche we take on the terrace square. a rather relaxed atmosphere welcomes us the young service brigade. we feel comfortable in this house from the beginning.In a glass of champagne, the first petty ones are served. such a corn tartar in a corn horn (cornetto), taco filled with saiblings tatar and sphere of melone. all handcrafted and also well seasoned, but nothing that remains in the long term. otherwise the following amuse. a potato ice cream with further textures of the potato and truffle chips. an interesting start showing the line of the chef chefs.The first step then a school with topinambur, pfifferlings and petersilie. the egg in organic quality was on the point cooked with a pleasant melt the other ones matched excellent to the main actor. At the next stage wild catch zander with bohnen, kamille, ananas and rostzwiebeln I had this so my difficultities. the fish with top quality was cooked on the spot, however, the rose onions disturbed me with their still rough taste. also the light acid of the ananas did not fit so completely to the fine fish.Anders also the main dish. the meat perfectly cooked with a hearty sud that was seasoned with the curry. the optimally seasoned cauliflower and the light sweet of the cherry rounded off this floor perfectly. (unfortunately the picture has not been well done) But here a small note. I think this gang would have worked better on a white teller. it seems to be common in many star restaurants currently to use many colorful teller. also in France, where we were to visit in the mai in the normandie, we could find this phenomena in the restaurants we visited. fennel was then the product for the pre Dessert.The dessert from heaven, litschi, estragon and quinoa was for us the weakest gang of the evening. everything somehow didn't work together and thought out. the sweet cream from heavenly harmonized taste with the estragon not at all. also the Lithuanian sud did not fit into this composition and what the quinoa should serve was not obvious to me. Conclusion: despite the weak in dessert a pleasant evening. the “Schäumchen” of the service worked professionally quiet and competent. the atmosphere in the restaurant was quite compulsive. the concept seems to be going on.
We were friends for dinner in fine dining and were very enthusiastic. the young and uncomplicated staff has done wonderful work in the service and the sommelier met to any dish with the wein in the black. the quality as well as the dressing of the individual passages fabulous and creatiw. warm congratulations herr meier to her great truppet and to the star deserved in my opinion. we are happy to come back!
Herr meier and his team have kept what they are talking about. great location, friendly and not superb service, good wein recommendations and an outstanding menu with really creative and surprising elements. through a pleasure.
