Bidrage med feedbackWas there the first time this weekend, and the food was incredible. It's a small, unassuming place with a friendly staff. The samosas were perfect, the garlic naan some of the best I've had, and my paneer tikka masala were the best Indian food I've had in a long time. I will be back.
I usually prefer vegetarian restaurants, but that doesn't mean I won't eat at places that serve non-vegetarian options. Today, we stumbled upon this restaurant in Novi after deciding not to wait over an hour at another popular spot in Metro Detroit. The location is central with plenty of parking, and despite being fully booked, we were seated quickly. The interior is spacious and not cramped. The service was great - the person taking our order was busy but still had a smile on their face and helped out wherever needed. It's not self-service, the servers call out numbers and bring your order to your table. Everyone was cheerful and friendly. The wait time for our food was minimal, maybe 5-10 minutes after ordering. The kitchen is open concept so you can see the cooks at work. The food was delicious- we tried Dahi Puri, Pav Bhaji, Poori Aloo, Chana Bhatura, and Shahi Paneer, all of which were excellent. My favorite was the Pav Bhaji, it was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian street food. Keep up the good work!
We were a bit unsure about trying this new restaurant, but the staff was amazing! The owner, who took our order, was very helpful and guided us through the menu to make some excellent choices. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor! We can't wait to go back again.
I love when places label what's vegan and gluten free. It's nice to not have to pester people throughout my meal. Delicious food and a great variety! The only thing that would make it better would be 100% vegan :
The food is very authentic and delicious. I had an excellent time enjoying the various dishes. The ambiance is really cool. The service is prompt and cordial. I love the food at Turmerican Vegetarian Cuisine.
