Gourmet Buffet - Novi

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We arrived at 3 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to still receive the lunch buffet price. The selection of dishes was impressive: three types of soup, five dim sum, thirty warm entrées, six salads, eight fruits, and eight desserts. There were also twelve sushi options and another twelve cold or raw items that you could mix and cook on the grill to your liking. To top it all off, they had ice cream and pistachios for dessert. I visited a few years ago, and I noticed that the place looks much cleaner now. The waitstaff was very attentive, promptly clearing away used dishes, refilling drinks, and even sweeping the floor. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely consider returning.

I stopped visiting this restaurant a couple of years ago because the food was old and cold. However, we decided to give it another try, and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality has improved significantly. They've even introduced sushi! It was much better than I remembered. The food was hot and fresh, there was a great variety, and the green tea was fantastic. If it has been a while since your last visit, I highly recommend giving them another chance.

The food was fantastic; the sushi rolls were incredibly fresh, and the hibachi selection offered a wide variety of options. However, the salad bar was lacking, as the iceberg lettuce wasn't chopped properly and there were limited toppings. Fortunately, the rest of the buffet more than made up for this shortcoming. It did take quite a while for items like the snow crab legs to be restocked, and the crab rangoons were served cold, but overall, the other dishes were very flavorful and enjoyable.

Not bad. Went for the Sunday brunch at about noon. Everything was fresh and hot. They kept bringing out more fresh hour for as more people came in. Wasn't super busy but wasn't swamped. Service was fine. Drink was never below half and never more than one empty plate on the table.
