Bidrage med feedbackAuthentic Japanese Izakaya restaurant in Novi. There are more dishes than typical japanese restaurant that only have ramen and sushi. I post pictures of the menu so take a look at that. If you want something different than regular japanese food then come check it out Since it is a Izakaya it stay opens pretty late too.
Fabulous. Zaru soba was delicious, mackerel nice, sushi rolls were great. Can't wait to get back and try more of the menu. Authentic menu and vibe. Great service, totally worth the drive from Detroit. Very reasonable prices.
Outstanding. Worth the drive no matter where you 're coming from. Fried tofu (served in a miso broth, garnished with dried fish flakes shaved so thin they 'dance ' as the steam rises) was the tastiest tofu dish I 've ever had. Fried oysters were killer. Unagi was the best I 've ever had. Sashimi was simply wonderful. Best or near best I 've ever tasted across the board. Sweet shrimp, fatty tuna and salmon were applause worthy. Great Sake selection, limited beer selection, but that 's not the draw. We also tried a raw/cold beef dish and a teriaki steak appetizer, which were delicious. I love my local, but can 't stay away from this place for too long. Language barrier a small issue, but everything they serve is in a photo book. I 've had better service, but never friendlier.
Certainly a place worth stopping by, the food is good and fresh, the rates are fair and it is regularly clean here. 5 stars.
Good quality and authentic Japanese food. It's a little on the pricier side, but it's always worth it when I feel like venturing away from the typical sushi or ramen.
