Saffron Grill Market - Novato

My fiancé and I, who are Persian, were thrilled to discover a well-stocked and affordable Persian market in our area! The hot meals were absolutely delicious and we plan on returning soon.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, the service was great, and the price was good.

This is a place for One of The Best of Mediterranean Persian Foods and Groceries. Place is very clean and welcoming. Ambience and energy is so positive and very friendly staff. FOODS are absolutely FANTASTIC.

Recently we were privileged to enjoy their catering at a large gathering for the first time. The food selection includeed variety of Khoresht's (Iranian stews made with herbs, vegetables, meat) Kokoo's (quiches made with herbs and vegetables) Cotlets (meat and potatoes) and Kabobs. All very tasteful. Thank you and please maintain good quality of food you offer.

Omg! This is a hidden gem, the food were delicious, rice were flavorful and meat were tender and juicy. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We ended our meal with a Turkish coffee, which was amazing. I would definitely return again. Beware, this is little place is a hole in a wall, or should i say, a hole in a mom and pop grocery store. Prices are slightly high, however, it’s definitely worth it.
