La Pinata Mexican - Novato

The staff is friendly, and the customers are wonderful—they treat you like family. On my first visit, the food was excellent! The owners even came out to greet us, and the bartender, Fernando, was fantastic. My B52 drink was so delicious that I had to order another one. I also enjoyed the bean dip and the peanut plate. Everything was so good that I decided to place a to-go order, too!

La Pinata offers excellent authentic Mexican cuisine with generous portions at reasonable prices. The service is exemplary, and the restaurant has a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, a great dining experience!

I would rate this place five stars, but I feel like they still have room to improve. I really enjoy coming here for their authentic tacos with grilled onions. The bartenders are always fantastic, so I prefer sitting at the bar. If you're in Novato and haven't been here yet, you're definitely missing out!

Was very impressed by the chorizo burrito on the breakfast menu, served all day. For only $7.25 you get two eggs with choorizo, tomatoes and onions thrown. Wrapped in a flour tortilla with bacon. Servers came to the table several times to refill my iced tea. Can't wait to come back and try some other items on menu 8)

Very tasty Mexican food with some unique dishes. I had the shrimp and spinach enchiladas tonight and they were delicious. The cozuelas are also a good choice...kind of a stew. It's definitely worth visiting for the food because the location is kind of bleh...inside a parking lot next to the DMV and Goodwill. Not exactly picturesque views!
