Hopmonk Tavern - Novato

We eat here often. we always get a friendly server, very attentive to us. Eating is excellent! loves the tahini kale salat!

Music was great. service and eating were fabulous. great outdoor area with live music and outdoor fire pit.

Well. eat alway well and they have entertainment outside if they want that

Moved to nowato and tries many places. this is casual, eating is ok and a good place to dip. not in the same category as boca, which is just on the road.

We were looking for a place for lunch to take my 90+ mother and needed it to be easy access and not too fancy. HopMonk was all that. Service was very good (we got there on the early side) and the menu was great. However, unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. I would definitely try it again, but probably would try other items. Their Pork Sliders were dry. The French Onion Soup was a strange version....not bad, but not really very good either. Their Cheese Sandwich so-so. Mom liked the Beef Sliders and they did look good. The Caesar Salad was fine. All in all, I wish the food was better. It was a convenient location and the atmosphere nice. I will try it again.
