Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this place to try their draught beer and pub food. Even though the pints were well poured and tasty, what was expected as the brewery is right beside, the beer was pricey. Music was very loud which make a conversation nearly impossible. The place is nicely decorated with rock themed stuff and the waiters are friendly. Apart of that, all the rest was really disappointing. The menu is mainly meat based so there are not many options for vegetarians nor can the plates be adapted under order. I ordered so a deep fried dumpling with provolone filling which was not only overpriced but also came with raw flour inside, all of them were the same. When I complained to the waitress, another plate was brought but the food came on the same way. Other people at my table ordered the mixed leaves salad with walnut and honey, which was also disappointing as the portion was small and just one type of leaf was served with no sign of honey in it. All the dishes were poorly prepared and presented. We tried to give feedback at the tills, but the cashier was rude and didn't receive them well. When I said the menu should be more varied with vegetarian options he answered that the place focused only on Gauchos who like meat. I believe so this place is not for the general public or for foreigners but only for locals. We saw other people complaining about the food so it was not only a personal point of view. With such a narrow minded view of business I don't believe this place will last long as a restaurant. I would not recommend it for meals when there are so many other nicer places in the region and I won't go back during my next visit to Serra Gaucha.
Looking for good local beer and some German appetizers? That's a great place to go, two nice floors with different environments and a beautiful public at nights! Try all the locally brewed beers and the real German pretzel, you won't miss it!
