Chez Toto - Noumea

Chez Toto is fantastic. A small bistro owned by a man who is visible in the kitchen and wife running in front of the house, with excellent cooked meals and generous portions at no cost more than an average New Caledonia dinner. My friend and I went to the recommendation of a local French New Caledonian Tour Guide, and it was absolutely worth it. One of the best meals we had there. Everyone can speak English, but the menu is only in French and Japanese, so make sure you have some French or Google Translate when you go! It opens somewhat later than many places in Nouméa, so if you rely on public transport, you may need to ask for a taxi back where you stay when you have eaten, but they are very happy one of the drivers they know to take you home.

Excellent food. The portions are very large. The staff is great. It was in capacity, so I would recommend booking a table. It's very expensive.

Great authentic French cuisine. We ate steak in pepper sauce and roasted salmon in lemon sauce. Perfect aromas, never something like that. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Noumea.

Great little restaurant. delicious food, very friendly and friendly staff. seems always too busy, which is a great sign.
