Wilford Green - Nottingham

First time visiting since launch of The Wilford Green.

Not great food, drinks or atmosphere. Food menu limited to simple foods and cooked badly. Limited drink selection and rude staff.

Me and my friends used to love coming to this pub and we have tried to give it several chances under the new ownership.

We visited for a light lunch having looked at the Website to see that such things were available.

Went to the Wilford green as a couple with 2 young children. No kids menu, which was fine as the waitress said they did smaller portions, when the bill came was charged at adult price.ordered 3 x fillet steaks, which were fatty and chewy. When mentioned to the landlord his response well the chef must of picked the wrong steak out!!! Ok.... Still got charged for fillet! When asked bar staff to take off the final bill, the landlord stated he had already taken on steak meal off... Which was not eaten as came out cold. Anyway, the young lady/ waitresswho continuously apologized was brilliant. Didnt get her name but she deserves a blue Peter badge for putting up with the environment she works in. Also..... Little white dog which I believe belongs to the landlord chased my husband as he went to pay our bill..... Hilarious but not really very welcoming.
