I really enjoy this restaurant! I’ve always had great meals here; I've never had a bad experience. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. While cash is the preferred payment method, they also have a convenient system that allows you to pay by card through a text message. This is incredibly helpful, especially in a pinch!

Simon's local locksmith visited the Anchor chip shop today while working across the street. The staff there were very friendly, and the chip shop itself was very clean. I had a large portion of properly cooked chips, which were delicious, and they even gave me complimentary tomato sauce, which was a nice bonus. I will definitely return to this chip shop when I'm working in the area again!

For about 3 years customer, excellent eating, never had a problem! excellent service and great prices for what I ordered also huge portions!

NEVER AGAIN! Purchased fish and chips from here had to throw it in the bin! Completely FAT soaked pile of C !! The fish looked like it had been run over by a steamroller and completely soaked through with fat. This place needs an inspection. Do not waste your money here. The food is beyond awful.
