Taste Of India - Nottingham

We are regular visitors to kabir's restaurant-sometimes as 3 and other times up to 13 persons. Never had a bad meal. Always tasty and served at the table at the right temperature. Some of our group can be fussy eaters but at the TASTE OF INDIA never any complaints. The prices are very acceptable too. The head waiter is a joy to have him serve you.

We have used Taste of India regularly for delivery orders and enjoy the food. However, what always lets it down for us, and increasingly so, is the wait. Our latest meal (not a large order) took 1hr 15 to arrive and the delivery driver couldn't have cared less. No apology. We'll be going to a more reliable restaurant for our curries from now on.

I have been a customer at this restaurant for 15 years, but after tonight's experience, I will not be returning. The quality of service and attitude of the staff has drastically declined. They are rude and lacking in manners. There were missing items from my order, which were quickly 're-made' and sent out within minutes, making me question the freshness of the food. The overall quality of the restaurant has decreased over the years. I will now be going to Bombay Nights on Aspley Lane instead.

Attended tonight for a meal on my brothers birthday as we always do but tonight the service was terrible!!! Brother opened his presents which was 2 bottles of alcohol and placed them on the table with his card unopened waiter came over and said u cannot drink your own drink bottles was unopened!!!! Which we told and shown the waiter… once some of us had finished starters waiter came over leaning over people still eating collecting plates! After meals had been finished they then brought out the birthday cake plonked it on the table and then decided to light candles! We then recieved the bill and within 10seconds they was at the table with card machine to where I told them can you give us a minute! Never have we recieved such terrible and rude service here safe to say we shall not be returning again! The place wasn’t even busy had one other couple absolutely shocking

I typically enjoy medium to spicy curries, but when dining with friends, I opted for 3 mild curries, along with some appetizers and bread. Each dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The staff was welcoming and friendly, as always.
