Pearl House - Nottingham

Ordered food last night and after seeing good reviews on Deliveroo I thought I would order from here, worst mistake I could ever make. We ordered at 19:15 and had to call back at 20:30 at still hadn’t arrived and did not arrive for another 25 minutes. Before taking anything out I noticed a dead ant on top of the sweet and sour sauce pot, so refused to eat this and put it in the bin, thought we would at least try it but the pork balls batter was SOGGY and the pork was dry. The chicken batter was soggy like they had been warmed up, the worst part was once my partner bit into the chicken it was PINK so we refused to eat them. Before noticing the chicken we had ate a little of the chicken chow mein which tasted bland and just fatty chicken, the rice was average and the chips tasted like they had been warmed up. Soon as we ate the chicken and noticed it was pink it was a complete put off and us as a family decided to throw it in the bin. We did complain but as we could only probe the chicken was pink we only got a £6 refund, because we couldn’t prove the ant was there (which we through in the bin first). I find it a disgrace that we did not get a full refund as why should we pay for something so atrocious that myself, partner and kids would not eat? Never would I eat from here again.

Best place to order food the FLAVOUR WOW even though my food came 10 minutes lates they put in good effort I recommend this place not the first time ordering but they always deliver!

They welcomed us very kindly. The food is fast and very tasty. We will go back to them again. Thank you.

I will never use this takeaway ever again I ordered food I found rat droppings in my prawn crackers and got food poisoning and was severely I’ll in hospital for 2 weeks because of these guys please avoid at all costs When spoke to owner I received nothing but verbal abuse via phone calls and text messages from random numbers AVOID THIS RAT INFESTED PLACE

Have the owners changed? We use to love pearl House we just had a takeaway and all I can say is disgusting the prawn toast was like cardboard the rice was dry and my beef and brocoli did have a single bit of beef in it, I will not be ordering from here again
