The last 2 times being in the food was warm, not HOT it used to be great

We are regulars here and can’t recommend both the food quality and staff friendliness enough. This is one of the consistently best chippies we have been to.

The owner has personality problems and mood swings. Bullies staff and portions size is questionable

We have visited captain cod for many years and are family lovers. freshly cooked beautiful fish with generous portions, which is not to love!

There are no more so many good fish and chip stores, but this is one of the best fish and chips were great at any occasion. in any case on my list of takeaways.

Large selection of foods here all freshly made neat portions for the prices, payment is by cash or card that is a great help.

Kebab was hot and fresh with plenty of sauce as requsted. Served and gone withing 5 minutes
