Artisan - Notting Hill

Cool and quirky, worth visiting when they are in the opposite. not too expensive, not intentionally.

When we arrived, the lights were on, but the door was closed. Our reservation was at 7:30 on Thursday night. When we arranged the restaurant, we could hear her phone ringing, but nobody picked up. We had to go and look elsewhere and that was a special occasion. This restaurant should not connect with open table if they are not in service

They were closed and did not announce it. Half of the menu was not available and the food that actually came out was less than moderate

Service was a bit all over the place. It wasn’t busy but I think the kitchen was overwhelmed with the amount of Deliveroo takeaway orders they were sending out. The starters were lovely but there were problems with all the mains (poor quality fatty veal, cold carbonara and bland Clam spaghetti) they also missed things from our order and didn’t offer any more drinks we had to continually prompt. Was disappointed

Good food. Service was OK. We had to ask for a few things quite a few times. It ended up costing more than we though.
