El Manglar - Nosara

Always like to visit them el manglar. it is a great place for us and our guests. we always recommend a night in this magnificent restaurant. great food, great staff, great drinks. Wednesday night live music is always a tasty bite.

Best food I've had in Nosara, we had a surf and turf tenderloin with jumbo shrimp and the tacos. Both were incredible and extremely well priced. I will be eating here every week

I went to several restaurants during the week I spent in Nosara. Some were very good, some were OK. El Manglar had the best food but besides that, it was the only restaurant with a more upscale cuisine and presentation. Service was excellent to boot. Check it out if you’re in Nosara!

A nice eatery, close to the beach located in a hotel. Casual setting with friendly service that delights. The food was tasty, sourced locally and prepared quite nicely. The fish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spices and garlic. The ceviche was nice, a bit on the chew side, but good in flavor. More attention would be nice on the side and accompaniments to compliment the tasty food. Pricing was moderate.

This place was not that expensive, and the portions were perfect to better than perfect….we ate at many places in Jaco, and they were pricier and the food not as good as El MANGLAR….I don’t want to tout as much as I am because I’m selfish and want to enjoy just the way it is, but the owners and staff definitely deserve the patronage!!!!
