Restaurants in Fordsburg have a high turnover rate but Kashifs is one of those that has stood the test of time. What I like about the menu is that it consists of a variety of fusion dishes and unusual dishes that you won’t find everywhere else. Some of the best Indian food I had. The manager made a special dish for me and my wife that was not on the menu. That was really special. The Terimasu was the best I had in many year but the second time I had it a few months later, it wasn't as good as the first time. The home made icecream also very good.

I love the food and the enormous variety available but find it a bit over priced especially for the venue it is located in. This place had a great atmosphere when it opened but the crowds have since dwindled and you are often the only person dining! Still a great eating experience though

I visited Kashifs for the first time about 4 years ago during trip to joburg and haven't been able to stop thinking about it! Thank goodness we have since moved here and I can't wait to go visit again! Our food was fantastic! Loved the relaxed atmosphere and that there are no false pretences! Really excited to go back!
