Bidrage med feedbackWe've been to Gusto a few times and it's not a bad place for a quick meal. The pizzas are really nice, wood fired and very traditional. Pasta serves are generous too. Service though is a bit slow, when we ate here with a group of 15 it was super slow to get food out and the staff seemed a bit disorganized. It out a dampener on our group catch up.
I only come here for the gnocchi. Best in town thus far.... if i found better gnocchi i would go there. Service is always below average, randomly forgetting something, mumbling through orders, hanging around the table, talking to locals and chatting to regulars outside on the path. Just plain uncomfortable. In one minor instance i asked for a diet coke, he came back with a coke zero. "I said this isn't Diet Coke", he said "oh we dont have it". I said "Well i dont like Zero j am sorry", he said "It's the same thing"...I explained, no its different, which is why i asked specifically for Diet Coke... he continued off laughing and just walked away. I refused to pay for it! Seen a few little arguments between two guys on a few occasions, assuming they are brothers?!, but i literally come here for the soft pillow like clouds that melt in your mouth, not the service. Some time you just have to take the amazing with the average. I am normally all about service, but literally my score is for the food downgraded by what you have to put up with when you get it.

I don't think this place even deserves a rating of 1 out of 5. Very, very poor service- I feel bad for the waiters/waitresses that actually DO a good job. Food is less than standard, no surprises there. Food tastes just as the interior looks. I really do hope that they use these negative reviews as a way of moving towards improvement. I don't like leaving bad reviews but when a place neglects taking customer orders in order to chat to their "favourite" customers, that's when it becomes unacceptable. Please improve your customer service, seriously it's so important! Don't walk past diners without asking if they're ready to order. Also, food shouldn't take an hour to arrive.. If you want to keep serving food of the same quality you should at least consider putting the prices down. I ate at this place a year ago and I can still remember the horrible experience....how sad.
Rubbish! One of our party had the $39 seafood dish: the Morton Bay bug was we'll past it - soft, mushy and smelt. Chef's reaction: "It's Good". Back comes the dish. Good lack with that strategy Chef. We won't be back!
