Waterside Cafe - Norwich

Great little cafe with a good range of food. Friendly and helpfull staff.

This was our second visit to the Water Café. During our first visit, the coffee machine was out of order, but this time there were no issues. The coffee was wonderful, and I enjoyed a delicious slice of lemon and elderflower cake. My partner had a speck sandwich with tomato relish, which was a tasty cross between a pita and a panini, and he absolutely loved it! The location is stunning and so peaceful; it's hard to believe it’s just a few minutes from the A47. The staff were very friendly, especially the young lady who welcomed us right from the start. I highly recommend this place!

This is a really pleasant, clean, and bright café with friendly staff and fresh food served quickly. It tends to get busy between 1 and 2 PM due to the nearby office workers. There are limited parking spots available in front, but don’t forget that there is additional parking just across the road. Highly recommended!

I’ve only seen this place by the pond during the summer, but I've never visited before. It is truly beautiful inside, spacious, and offers plenty of seating options. There’s a large selection of sandwiches, baguettes, cakes, and some hot food available. It seems to cater mostly to workers from the business park, which means the food is typically prepared for quick service. The coffee is decent, and there’s a variety of soft drinks. We’re thinking of returning for another round of drinks.

Nice place to sit and have lunch. Friendly staff, even under the pressures of a busy. Lunch time. Good quality food but a little pricey.
