The Rumsey Wells - Norwich

What can I say about the pie that I have just had! It was the most impressive one I have ever had! First visit and hopefully not the last as the premises is great and the food is equally excellent. Highly recommended if you are ever visiting Norwich

Solid Adnams pub with the regular choices plus other ales on tap plus a good selection of spirits; friendly service and a good outside area. Have a word with Pieminster; as a committed carnivore called Kevin, calling their Vegan pie Kevin is out of order!!

Whilst on Holiday in Norfolk, we had heard that Pieminister Pies were being sold at The Rumsey Wells in Norwich. So as we really enjoy eating those pies we headed there and it did not disappoint. The pub is not far from the centre of Norwich and we were welcomed on entry and as it was quite quiet we were told to just find a table we wanted to sit at and then order from the bar when we were ready. We ordered three pies and drinks (The pies come with a selection of extras including Mash, Peas, Gravy etc. all the way up to the Mothership which I had! . Once we had ordered and paid we did have to wait a while as the pies are obviously cooked to order, but when they arrived they were very well presented and hot. They tasted delicious and I was very satisfied that they met Pieminister standards! A very happy experience and would eat there again!

I visited Rumsey Wells for food and drink and left very impressed! The drink selection was great and varied with options not commonly seen in other places, reasonably priced too and in the case of the Konig Pilsner I had, with the correct branded glass. The food was amazing, I had the moo+blue (Beef and Stilton Pie) with Mash, Mushy Peas and Gravy. Was hands down one the best Pies I've had in any pub and good value too. I also had a Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert which was also amazing. Finally the staff that did serve me were all friendly and all had a smile on their face. Will return without question.
