City Spice - Norwich

This was my first meal from this restaurant in a while. It was delivered on time, fresh, piping hot, and perfectly made. I couldn't find a single fault with it. Anyone who complains about this food clearly needs to refine their taste buds.

If you are a fan of curry and appreciate fresh, high-quality ingredients in your dishes, then this is the best place to visit in Norwich. I have tried every curry house in the area since 1989, at least once and sometimes twice a week, and while this restaurant may not be the most visually appealing, its food is top-notch. It may be a bit slow at times, but the freshness and quality of the ingredients, as well as the taste of the dishes, make it my number one choice for curry. The staff also go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Give it a try - it deserves 5 stars.

Last night ordered a takeaway to eat with friends whilst watching the boxing. This is by far the worst curry I’ve ever had. Ordered the lamb patia, which only comes as lamb tikka bizarly! Lamb was borderline inedible had had to dig out the fat and bones, and as for the naan bread, I’ve chewed on tastier and softer cardboard boxes. I can confidentially say, I’ll never be ordering from City Spice again.

Sitting here right now... only 3 tables filled but it still took over an hour to get our food (mains. no starters ordered). when it finally arrived, it was okay. though the salad (see pic) was just loads of lettuce and salad with one tiny plum tomato and two tiny slices of cucumber. naan and sides were ok, but really i wasn't impressed.

Having just arrived at my accommodation this looked the best place nearby. I went fairly early the place was empty, not a good sign. I was showed to a table and offered a drink. The food was particularly quick coming bearing in mind that I was the only customer. I didn't mind as this to me is a good sign, it's been cooked fresh ! When it arrived it was hot in temperature and really tasty, the nan bread was just done right, I really enjoyed the meal and not expensive at all.
