Not Your Average Joe's Norwell

Our server, Kayla R., was incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite. The Veggie Harvest Bowl was outstanding! The variety of vegetables was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was delicious. We also loved the Peanut Butter Thing that we shared—it was delightful! We appreciated the birthday discount as well. The view of Accord Pond from our table at the front of the restaurant was beautiful, especially during sunset.

NYAJ is one of my favorite chain restaurants! They offer an amazing cocktail menu along with delicious food. The bread with oil they serve as an appetizer is fantastic. One of my favorite dishes is the almond-crusted goat cheese salad. The staff are always friendly, and the service is excellent!

We ordered takeout and were shocked to see the smallest Caesar salad I've ever received for $11—completely outrageous! We also ordered three main dishes but only got four pieces of bread, two of which were stale. What a disappointment!

Extremely slow service didn't get a drink order until almost 20 minutes of sitting with a menu. Food was decent but not memorable. The ahi wonton's were excellent but the jambalaya had no taste and zero heat for a Cajun dish???

Honestly, Not Your Average Joe's is not what it used to be. For years, my husband and I enjoyed many meals there, but my recent experiences have not been great. I understand that the prices of everything have gone up, but the quality of the food at Joe's seems to have gone down. I went to their brunch yesterday. The drinks were good, the service was excellent, but the food left something to be desired. I had the Chilaquiles, and items were left out of the dish. No black beans, no Pico de Galo, just a dish of nachos with very little cheese and a few tablespoons of adobo sauce. I was very disappointed. Sad to say but I doubt that I'll be back. I definitely won't be back for the brunch!
