Zoup! - Northville Township

I placed an online order today (Sunday) at 2:25 PM directly through their website. However, when I arrived, the restaurant was closed. I even double-checked Google Maps, which also indicated that it was open.

Absolutely terrible! The menu hasn't been updated, and I couldn't try anything worth tasting. Overall, a total disappointment.

I walked in to order some soup with bread bowls, keeping in mind that they close at 8 PM. When I asked if we could place an order, the girl at the counter responded with an attitude. I inquired about getting bread bowls with the soup, and she informed me, “We technically don’t do bread bowls anymore due to our menu change.” I decided to leave instead. On the positive side, the guy working with her was very nice and willing to take my order. Unfortunately, my experience left a very bad impression of Zoup in general. I hope they can work on being more friendly to customers who want to give them business.

I ordered a delivery order for a grilled cheese sandwich and 2 bowls of lobster bisque with a side of French bread for each bowl. I paid extra to add avocado to the grilled cheese sandwich. When my order arrived, the sandwich was cold and did not have avocado. I also was missing one of the sides of French bread. I called the restaurant to report the issues 2 times and left 2 voicemails on two separate days. I called for a third time the following week, and the employee gave the phone to the manager. After going over what the issues were with my order, and how I had left 2 voicemails about this already, the manager said that she does not have access to the voicemail for their main number. She said I could come in and get a new bowl of soup, but I requested a refund instead. She offered to refund ONLY the missing side of French bread and avocado, totaling less than $3! My order was almost $40 including a tip for the delivery driver. We have plenty of food options to choose from here in Plymouth and Northville, so keep this in mind the next time you're choosing where to eat or order from; I know I will.
