Townside Garden Cafe - Northumberland

Had my daughters baby shower there yesterday with great service and awesome food!! Thank you so much!!!

Townside catered my wedding about 2 years ago. Food was nothing like it was when we did a tasting. Mashed potatoes did not have any milk/cream or butter in them. They tasted like boiled potatoes just mashed and put in a pan. Baked herb chicken had no flavor. We also ordered chicken skewers that were to have a dipping sauce. Ended up with baked chicken cut into cubes and placed on a plate with no sauce. The food was amazing when we tasted it, which made us even more disappointed that it was so bad at the wedding.

Unfortunately this place has gone dowhill, a steep one!

This quaint little cafe offers great food in a very cozy environment.
