The Oaks - Northumberland

We popped in on a Sunday for lunch. Staff were nice and sat us quickly. The chef serving the buffet was friendly. The food was tasty.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner here on a filthy night in Alnwick. Two turkey dinners with all the trimmings and wine was just what was required after tramping round Alnwick Gardens in the rain. Friendly staff too and all at a decent price.

We stayed for one night, room was big and very comfortable. We had dinner breakfast which were both tasty and generous portions. Dog friendly areas inside. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

I would just like to say what an amazing Halloween evening my family and myself had at The Oaks tonight. The service was second to none and a special mention to our waiter Tyler, who entertained my 2 children the whole evening! Tyler was so patient with them and was very attentive to their many requests! They instantly took a liking to him and talked about him the whole way back to our holiday home and all the spooky things they saw tonight! The food was delicious and lots of choice on the menu! Such a friendly place, we have visited numerous times from Leeds and will definitely continue to do so! Thank you Tyler for being so lovely!

Friendly service, good menu choice with great value for money. Kids menu was excellent and the portion size fantastic. Nice county feel and ambiance..
