Bidrage med feedbackStopped for breakfast on our way home from Kielder and so glad we did! We got a lovely welcome and ordered Full English Breakfasts and a Luxury Hot Chocolate for our son. Everything was cooked well and tasted lovely, lovely big pot of tea and the Hot Chocolate got a thumbs up too! Well worth a visit if you're in the area
Almost missed this. It’s on the corner in falaf one village. The sign said “old village school”. But it is actually the falstone tea room. Small but clean and tidy inside. Not a vast menu but there is choice. Ordered earl grey tea with soya. Hubby had black coffee. Ordered veggie breakfast and veggie sausage sandwich on brown bread. Drinks came quickly and food not long after. Lovely tasty sausages and brekky was tasty and fresh. Not massive portions but enough. They have a small selection of goods ie sauces kitchen rolls toothpaste tea bags etc. also sell locally made craft items which were very lovely to look at. Sauces on table. Table service. Not huge amount of tables but wasn’t overly busy Monday morning. Very friendly customers !!! Not too expensive and really enjoyed it. Wud definitely visit again if in area
This is my sort of tearoom! Great breakfast, nice strong coffee, good WiFi and a Victoria Sandwich as good as my granny’s! Well worth popping into pretty Falstone for.
We have been to this restaurant a few times. It is a charming place with delicious food. They welcome dogs and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
After spending the night at the Flittingford bothy three miles away in the forest, I was more than ready for a hearty cooked breakfast - and it did not disappoint! The setting and village were charming and old-fashioned, making it the perfect way to start the day. I highly recommend this place all around.
